'Unpretty Rapstar's Cheetah's powerful and moving track, 'Coma 07', reaches #1 on charts

It appears that Cheetah's raw and personal lyrics have tugged at not only the 'Unpretty Rapstar' audience's heartstrings, but the whole public! 


On March 20, Cheetah's song "Coma 07" reached number one on Naver Music, Olleh Music, Mnet, and more, demonstrating just how much she's stirred hearts with her moving performance.


The song is and especially personal one as it was written based on a life-threatening car crash Cheetah had experienced at the age of 17. She had been hit by a bus, and the doctors informed her parents that she could potentially have to give up her music career or choose an experimental procedure that is less likely to succeed but allow her to continue her music. Knowing full well how much Cheetah loves music, her parents chose the latter option, and Cheetah miraculously came through and allowed her to be where she is today! She explained during the episode, "In my song I wanted to portray what I thought about when I had been through a coma. I wrote a song that is about the real me. Hip-hop is me." 


Even Jessi gave props to Cheetah by saying, "In one word, she's a monster."

In other news, Jimin and Iron's song "PUSS" from 'Unpretty Rapstar' achieved number one on Daum Music.
