A photo of f(x)'s Amber recently drew in attention as it showed the female idol in possession of an electronic cigarette.
Although Amber wasn't seen actually smoking the vaporizer cigarette, the fact that the idol was holding it was enough for netizens to speculate. While some netizens came forward to defend Amber, others criticized the idol, pointing out the fact that Amber is in a girl group that has a large influence over young teenagers.

However, one netizen commented on her blog, "Amber is of legal age and it's not even illegal so I don't think there should even be a problem. It's a problem because she's in a girl group? What kind of logic is that? Who's to say that it's okay for boy groups to do it and girl groups can't?"
