In addition to Suzy and JYP Entertainment losing their lawsuit concerning publicity rights, it has been revealed that Psy and YG Entertainment have also lost their lawsuit against a vendor that sold a doll that allegedly looked like Psy.
It was revealed that YG Entertainment had filed the lawsuit citing that their rights to publicity were infringed upon by a vendor that has been selling dolls, which seemed to have been inspired by Psy.
However the Seoul District Court recently ruled that there was no infringement on YG Entertainment's publicity rights because "the dolls imitating Psy and Psy himself actually don't look alike."
When asked if they were going to appeal the decision, YG Entertainment revealed to the media, "We haven't decided yet."
