Recently, reports came out that Girls' Generation were preparing for a comeback in May as their goal date. SM Entertainment has since stepped up to tell TV Daily that they're still unsure about the exact album release date, but also didn't address whether May really is their intended date.

A rep stated on February 26, "Girls' Generation is consistently preparing for their comeback as eight members, but the exact album release date has not yet been decided on."
It's a small update with not much more information, but it still keeps fans' hopes up that their album will come out soon since the girls are working at it!
