Kangnam recalls being slapped by a past girlfriend

On the February 5 installment of KBS's 'Happy Together 3,' trendy star Kangnam appeared and talked about a past girlfriend.

The topic first came up when fellow guest Sayuri dropped a bomb with, "At the Haneda Airport, one woman who was waiting for Kangnam grabbed his hair and hit him."

Kangnam explained, "I was in a band in Japan, and my current agency CEO said, 'Let's go to Korea together.'  At the time, the K-Pop wave was amazing, so I wanted to go to Korea. I had a girlfriend, but I went without telling her.  I wanted to return coolly after succeeding. However, she found out somehow and came to the airport.  As soon as she saw me, she slapped me.  My parents were there, too.  I was so shocked and my girlfriend kept crying, so I took her to a cafe to calm her down."

He then looked at the camera and apologized to his girlfriend.
