AOA's Jimin sheds tears discussing how she feels judged for being an idol on 'Unpretty Rapstar'

On the January 29 broadcast of 'Unpretty Rapstar's first episode, AOA's Jimin surprised viewers when she began to tear up.�

During the episode, Jimin shared that because she's an idol, she felt judged by the other 'Unpretty Rapstar' contestants. She stated, "It's fine that I'm�ignored because I'm an idol. I will work hard and show a good image." She continued,�"I want to show that I have a passion for rap, more than people think."�

In the released clip above, Jimin elaborated that she felt as if her fellow contestants looked down on her, saying,�"I felt like they were making fun of me." The clip also showed a cut of the fellow contestants asking her things like if she's and idol and if she actually likes hip hop. Jimin looks clearly uncomfortable while the other contestants seem to be unable to hide their surprise that an idol is among them. Tearing up,�Jimin stated during the interview, "Of course I came here because I like hip hop."

In the same episode, Jimin added, "I felt I was being undermined. I didn't want to cry but I don't know why I'm crying. I'm sorry," and spilled more tears.
