On the November 8 episode of JTBC's 'Hidden Singer 3', the show was in the process of picking their 11 best mimicking singers, calling them the 'King of Kings'.
At this, Taeyeon commented, "So shouldn't we have done 'I Love You' during the second round?" causing the set to laugh at her teasing jab aimed at the production crew for making her sing a Girls' Generation song, "Gee", instead of one of her solo releases during the round she was eliminated.

Taeyeon made an appearance in the episode alongside one of her mimickers Kim Hwan Hee. During Taeyeon's episode back in September, Taeyeon had been eliminated as the singer who least sounded like herself during the second round, leading Kim Hwan Hee to win first place instead. Thus, Kim Hwan Hee is considered one of the 11 best mimicking singers.
During the episode, Kim Hwan Hee shared, "Ahead of the 'King of Kings' [special] I picked around three songs to sing." She revealed that her choices were Taeyeon's ballads "Can You Hear Me", "If", and "I Love You", saying, "I really like 'I Love You'."
