Lee Jong Suk plays the role of Choi Dahl Po, whose nickname is 'All Bbang' ['All Zero'] due to his poor grades in high school, but has a special talent. He also lost his parents due to an unfortunate accident when he was little, and appears as a student in what looks to be a game show in the teaser. Park Shin Hye plays the role of Choi In Ha, who has a 'Pinocchio' syndrome that makes her get the hiccups whenever she lies.
Their fellow reporters will be played by Kim Young Kwang, who plays a chaebol that decides to becomes a reporter, while Lee Yu Bi takes on the role of Yoon Yoo Rae, a former idol sasaeng fan.
'Pinocchio' centers around a group of local news reporters in their twenties who are just starting out in the field. The drama is set to air following 'My Lovely Girl' on November 12!
