Heechul made another appearance on 'THE TaeTiSeo' when a new episode aired on October 7 to talk about a past dorm experience he had as well as his strong friendship with Taeyeon.
He recalled a time there was a fire in the dorms eight years ago, saying, "Eight years ago, there was once a fire in the previous dorm. The 500 articles of clothing and 200 pairs of shoes I had collected all burned. After that, for eight years, I did not buy a single article of clothing. While thinking of all the clothes that flew away, I really thought it was useless [to buy new clothes]."

As the episode was filled with gratitude toward friends, Taeyeon said, "Aside from the members, I honestly don't have any close friends, and I don't really have friends I meet on a deeper level. Among those, Heechul and I match well and he tries to keep in pace with me, which is why I think we've hung out for a long time. That's why I'm very grateful."
Heechul replied, "There are times my heart hurts because Taeyeon tries hard to act strong. There is a lot of burden she carries on her shoulders, but she does not show that and she takes care of others, which is praiseworthy. Even when I have a hard time, she always stays by my side to comfort me. That is why I am always grateful."
