'Scent of Chrysanthemums' was originally released as a film back in 2011, and it will open as a musical on November 15. The female role of Mee Joo will be portrayed by talented musical actresses Yoo Jung Eun and Seo Ji Yoo.

Hyeongkon commented, "When I watched the movie 'Scent of Chrysanthemums' when I was younger, I remember crying a lot. When I was offered a part in the cast, I didn't even hesitate and said I wanted to do it."
He added, "I like that in musicals you can sing and act at the same time, and it has always been a genre that I wanted to challenge myself with. Since it is my first musical and it's my first time acting on stage, I will work hard to put my best foot forward so please come watch."
