A 39-year old identified as�Mr.Kwon was sentenced to 12 years in prison for raping his sisters-in-law (51, 46), niece / daughter of second sister-in-law (22), and two other neighbors multiple times after drugging them with sleeping pills in their coffee. The rape incidents have been reported to have occurred since 2009.

In addition to raping his victims, Mr. Kwon took photographs of their naked bodies and threatened them saying that he would release the pictures to the public. He also extorted almost $40,000 USD from his victims.

Mr.Kwon will have to wear a tracking device for 7 years, complete 80 hours of sexual violence treatment program, and was told to reveal and notify his sex offender status to the public.�

The department of justice ruled, "The defendant is regretting his faults but because his method of crime as well as the nature of his crime was poor and because the victims had faced harsh physical and mental stress, the defendant must face strict punishment."�

Mr. Kwon's actions were able to be revealed through the confession of the daughter of his second sister-in-law.
