Actor Lee Min Ki is belatedly reported to have enlisted yesterday on August 7th, which definitely comes as surprising news to fans and the public.

Lee Min Ki's rep revealed that the actor had already started his mandatory service term. They told Ilgan Sports on the 8th, "According to his wish to enlist quietly, Lee Min Ki didn't fully let those around him know of his enlistment and enlisted quietly yesterday (7th)... He is not enlisting as an active-duty soldier, but as a public service worker, which he was wary about so he stressed his intent to enlist quietly. He expressed his sorry heart for not letting fans know beforehand."
We will miss the charming actor, but we'll still be able to catch him through his upcoming movie 'Shoot My Heart' with Yeo Jin Goo, which he recently wrapped up the filming for.
