A KBS rep told Ten Asia on May 2, "It is true that Ji Hyun Woo is currently in talks for 'Trot Lovers'... Nothing has been confirmed, and we are making adjustments over the specific details. We are still looking for the female lead."
Ji Hyun Woo enlisted in August 7, 2012 and is set to be discharged on May 6, making him available to return to the small screen.
'Trot Lovers' portrays the success story of a woman in her twenties who has a talent for singing trot and meets a genius composer who helps her to become a trot singer. KBS also plans to pick up their viewer ratings by diverting from the heavy melodrama genre like 'Full Sun', 'Golden Cross', and 'Big Man', and portraying a romantic comedy with 'Trot Lovers'.
'Trot Lovers' is set to follow 'Big Man' this June!
