According to an exclusive by Star News on April 26, Yeon Woo Jin will play the role of Gong Ki Tae who is a cosmetic surgery expert running his own clinic in Cheongdamdong, Gangnam and has everything going for him as a bachelor.
Yeon Woo Jin's agency rep told OSEN, "Yeon Woo Jin is reviewing the male lead role for 'Hope for Marriage' in a positive light... He finished a meeting with the production crew, and it's true that he was left with a very good impression of the production and the character. But there are still details to work out."
'Hope for Marriage' is written by Joo Hwa Mi and will be directed by PD Song Hyun Wook. The drama portrays the story of successful bachelor, Gong Ki Tae, who gets pressure from his family to settle down and devises a plan to introduce a retail worker Park Chan Bi as his girlfriend who he thinks would never get his family's approval for marriage.
'Hope For Marriage' is currently in the process of casting and will crank in this May. It's scheduled to premiere following 'Gabdongi' this June!
