It has been revealed that Tiger JK's (40) father has passed away.

Tiger JK

on February 1, "My father left , he said life is loving and thank you all." His agency Feel Ghood Music rep stated, "Tiger JK's father Seo Byung Hoo (72), who was fighting cancer, passed away at his home in Uijeongbu today at about 4 PM KST... Tiger JK and his wife Yoon Mi Rae watched over him during his final hours."


Tiger JK previously revealed the inspiration for his album 'The Cure' came from his father who was struggling with stomach cancer at the time. Seo Byung Hoo is a founding member of the Korean Popular Music Critics Association and was the nation's first pop columnist. 


The wake is being held at Korea Cancer Center Hospital in Nowon, Seoul, and the funeral will conclude on the 3rd at 9:30 AM KST.
