Lee Seung Gi and Cha Seung Won in final stages of discussion to play cops in new drama 'You're Surrounded'

A report went out earlier today claiming that the two stars have been finalized for roles in the upcoming drama. 

An SBS rep is said to have stated, "The two's casting have been confirmed. They will sign their casting contracts sometime within this week and we plan to adjust their first filming schedule."

However, the drama's production company HB Entertainment rep later told Star News, "Lee Seung Gi and Cha Seung Won have not officially signed the contracts, but they are in the final stages of negotiations."

Lee Seung Gi's agency rep cautiously responded, "Lee Seung Gi is positively reviewing the casting offer for the drama... Since they are still adjusting [schedules], nothing has been confirmed yet."

'You're Surrounded' is a 20-episode drama surrounding four policemen who have been newly recruited into Gangnam Police Homicide Department and grow into respected detectives. The drama is directed by 'Giant's PD Yoo In Shik and 'Ojakgyo Brothers' writer Lee Jung Sun.

'You're Surrounded' will premiere following 'Three Days' this April. The casting will be completely finalized by the end of this week according to the drama production team, so it seems there's a good chance we will be seeing these two actors working together on this new production.
