Kim Soo Hyun's fan club generously donated in his name on February 16 to coincide with his birthday.
The fan club donated 4.22 tons of rice; 6,220 coal briquettes; 3,200 diapers; 1,200 ramens; and 5 million won (~ $4,700 USD) in cash. �Not only was this an excellent present for Kim Soo Hyun but it was also a thoughtful and generous gift for the people having a hard time, which is how the fan club members came to decide on this act. �It was not their first time being generous, either.

In relation to this, Kim Soo Hyun said through his agency Key East Entertainment, "I was touched by this deep, thoughtful present by this country's fans. �I will try hard to work more diligently and show better acting in the remaining time in order to repay all the fans who have supported 'You Who Came From The Stars.'"
