IUdenied reports and rumors that she is in talks to star in the Korean drama remake of 'Nodame Cantabile'.

IU's agency LOEN Entertainment rep told MyDaily on the 14th, "[IU] has not officially received the casting offer for the Korean drama remake of'Nodame Cantabile'. We are not in the stage of discussion yet."
Production company Group Eight, which is behind 'Boys Over Flowers' and 'Pretty Man', is currently planning another Korean drama remake, this time, of'Nodame Cantabile'. It's rumored that the production agency noticed IU's acting ability on 'Pretty Man' and decided to discuss casting IU for the leading female role.
'Nodame Cantabile' is a Japanese drama based on a manga that portrays the love and dreams of students majoring in classical music.
