She wrote on her blog on February 17, "Greetings to all the Chinese fans whom I love. I will tell you some good news. I am marrying in March. I hope all of you congratulate me. I will repay you with an even better self. I love you."
Her agency also said on the same day, "Actress Lee Tae Ran will be getting married in early March to Shin Seung Hwan to whom she was introduced by an acquaintance last year. Without a newlywed home or wedding presents by either side, they will have a simple wedding, only inviting family and close friends."
Currently, she has gone on vacation to Macao with the other actors from 'The Wang Family.' Once she returns, she will prepare for her wedding. It was also revealed that she had arranged a newlywed house already in Cheongdam-dong.
