Actress Go Ara revealed in an recent interview that she had to gain weight for her role as Na Jung in tvN's hit retro drama 'Reply 1994.'
She said, "I gained weight on the director's orders because he wanted to see a different image. For every meal, I had two bowls of rice and even ate more late-night meals so that there were a lot of times where I ate ten meals a day."

However, Go Ara revealed, "Later, as I started dating Jung Woo [in the drama], the weight I gained in the early phases started to naturally go away . . . Staying up to film at night also helped a lot in my diet."
