Jewelry's Yewon has made her official drama debut on the MBC Wednesday-Thursday series 'Miss Korea'.
Though Yewon has appeared in sitcoms and made cameos in other projects, this is the first time she'll be playing a role in a drama series. She tweeted before the premiere on December 18, "Tonight at 10PM! MBC's new Wed-Thurs drama 'Miss Korea' is finally premiering. I will be appearing as an elevator girl. The viewer ratings are rising. Daebak."
The idol-turned-actress also shared a photo of herself wearing an elevator uniform from the '90s. Yewon plays the role of Lee Young Sun, the main character Oh Ji Young's best friend.

'Miss Korea' tells the Cinderella story of Oh Ji Young (Lee Yeon Hee), who with the help of her co-workers in the cosmetics department store, tries out to become Miss Korea.
