Jang Yoon Jung's former fan club president explains why he filed a complaint against the singer

Jang Yoon Jung
There appears to be no end to the potential legal disputes for trot singer Jang Yoon Jung(35). Earlier this year, her mother, Yook Heung Bok (57) threatened to sue her and it appears that on October 22, Mr. Song(50), the ex-president of the singer's fan club, filed a complaint against the singer.

He claimed, "Jang Joon Young confined and assaulted her mother," and lodged a complaint with the police in Yongin, Gyeonggi-do. On October 28, Mr. Song was investigated and on November 26, Ms. Yook was called in to testify.

According to one media outlet, Mr. Song revealed his reasons for making these accusations against Jang Yoon Jung: "It was because she was so pretty and I loved her. Because I held her dearly as a fan for ten years . . . Her mother wrote her many letters and tried to contact her, but [Jang Yoon Jung] did not respond at all so I felt a responsibility as her fan club president and made the complaint in hopes of grasping at the wronged family's history right away at least through the law."

In relation to the investigation, Mr. Song was asked, "If the content in the complaint turns out to be false, how are you going to take responsibility?"

Mr. Song responded, "If what I said turns out to be untrue, I will go to the middle of Gwanghamun in my underwear, ask for forgiveness, and resignedly accept whatever responsibility I have legally."
