Girl's Day's Minah belatedly picked up the 'Best Rookie Actress Award' she received at the 13th annual 'Gwangju International Film Festival'.
According to DreamT Entertainment, Minah won the Best Rookie Actress Award for her role in the film 'Holly'. Due to her charity work in Thailand, Minah was unable to make it to the awards ceremony. She joined actor Shin Hyun Joon who also belatedly picked up his 'Best Star Award' at a separate ceremony held on September 6.
Minah was very humble about receiving the impressive award for her film debut. She shared, "I feel embarrassed to receive such a generous award for someone new to films and as lacking as I am, and I thank director Park Byung Hwan and all of the sunbae actors and staff who I've worked with. I will work hard to joyfully receive an acting award next time without any shame."
