Wheesung to be discharged on August 9

Wheesung's agency stated, "Wheesung will complete his 2-year military service and will be discharged as a�Nonsan Army Training Station sergeant�on the Friday morning of August 9th, 2013. On this day, at the location of his discharge, he will have a small gathering with the fans who've waited for him and will give his greeting."

Wheesung was previous sentenced to 3 days in military prison for possession of a cell phone and thus, his discharge date set for August 6 was pushed back to August 9. Prosecution also dropped charges against the singer for alleged propofol abuse during his time in the army.�

After overcoming these bumps in the road,�Wheesung will now return to the public eye and immediately get to work on his new album.
