Wonder Girls' Yenny will be taking on a role in a tvN's new drama 'Basketball', which unveiled a poster featuring the idol!
tvN confirmed on the 28th, "Yenny has been cast for the new tvN drama 'Basketball'."
With this being her first regular drama casting, Yenny said, "As this is my first time acting in a national TV drama, I am half nervous and half excited. Through director Kwak Jung Hwan's high quality production, I want to act out scenes that will remain in viewers' memories for a long time."
"Although I was doubtful of acting out the role of Bong Soon which requires me to show a tough image and use satoori [dialect], after realizing that I would have lived the same kind of life if I was born in her generation, I gained great affection for my character. I will work hard to bring my character to life for viewers with emotional acting in the production."
'Basketball' will take viewers on a journey of love and friendship among teenagers who break free from the dark trials and tribulations during a difficult time in Korean history.
