'1 Night 2 Days' PD gives own explanation on Lee Hyori not wanting to appear on the show

PD Lee Sae Hee of '1 Night 2 Days' gave his own explanation on Lee Hyori's statement on why she didn't want to appear on the show.

Lee Hyori was a recent guest on MBC's 'Radio Star' where she stated, "I was asked to come out on '1 Night 2 Days', but I said I couldn't go because I was uncomfortable with one of the members". A lot of people believed she was just joking around, but the PD of the show stated otherwise. The PD explained, "It wasn't all that serious, but I asked one of Lee Hyori's representatives if she wanted to come out (on the show). They said she couldn't appear because she was uncomfortable with one of the members, and it ended when I said, 'Ah, that's disappointing'."

The PD added, "As everyone knows, she's not only an excellent singer, but also excellent when it comes to variety shows. She probably would have done so well if she came out, but we couldn't help but just hope for the next time."
