German producer Minh Son Ha (Korean name Ha Min Sung) gained attention for his performance on the latest episode of 'K-Pop Star 2'.
He realized he wanted to become a K-Pop star after a cover of him singing Big Bang's "Bad Boy" went viral. "After getting that kind of response, I realized I could become an artist as well," he said.
Singing none other than J.Y. Park's "Only You", he drew applause for his soft, melodic performance. Yang Hyun Suk went a step further, telling him, "Even though your Korean isn't perfect, to be perfectly honest, I liked it more than J.Y. Park's original."
J.Y. Park then jokingly told the contestant, "Now you know what I'm going to do, right?" before giving him some serious feedback, saying, "You're fading away when you're going up into the high notes. You're covering it up with your emotions. If you can fix that, I can't find anything else."
