2PM recently released the "Chaku-Uta" for their upcoming 5th Japanese single "Masquerade" and it placed first on Recochoku's Daily "Chaku-Uta" chart.
"Chaku-Uta" are short versions (30~40 seconds long) of songs that can easily be used as ringtones (truetone). They are usually encoded in MP3, AAC, and other similar formats.
"Masquerade" was originally scheduled to be released on August 29th but the date was unfortunately postponed due to Nichkhun's DUI incident. It will be officially released on November 14th.
