On July 21st, CCM (Contemporary Christian Music) singer Sohyang sang the Korean national anthem for the '2012 All-Star Baseball Game' held in Daejeon City.
Sohyang has been gaining immense popularity through her amazing performances on MBC's 'I Am a Singer 2', where she already shocked the audience with her speechless cover of Whitney Houston's "I Have Nothing".
Many great singers have been invited in the past to sing the national anthem at baseball games, including Park Jung Hyun, Kim Bum Soo, and Ailee. Although many sang the national anthem beautifully, the commentator states after Sohyang finishes singing, "This is probably the best national anthem I have ever heard. I am getting chills. I don't think she even needs a microphone!"
