After wrapping up a tight schedule that had the girls promote back-to-back for six months, T-ara will now be heading to Japan for the Japanese release of "Roly-Poly"!
The girls will be departing on February 16th, and will run promotions for one month. According to agency Core Contents Media, "Many Japanese fans were highly anticipating "Roly-Poly" before its actual release. Japanese music professionals have predicted that over 300,000 copies of the album will be sold."
T-ara expressed their excitement for their new adventure, as they shared, "While working in Korea, we were able to win the best song award through "Roly-Poly" and even managed to obtain a triple-kill on music programs. We spent a really happy year [in 2011] and will do our best to bring good results in Japan as well."
Back in September 2011, T-ara became the first Korean girl group to grab the first spot on the Oricon Daily Music Charts with a debut album. "Bo Peep Bo Peep" became an instant sensation in Japan, and paved the way for T-ara's future successes.
