The popularity of�SM Entertainment's official Facebook Page, 'SMTOWN', has cemented SM's reputation as Asia's premiere record label.
According to Socialbakers.com (a social media statistics website),�SM's fan page has accrued the second highest number of 'Likes' out of all the music labels in the world.�They also have the most 'likes' out of all the music labels in Asia.
Launched in June of 2011, the SMTOWN page has already accumulated more than 1,000,000 fans. The global popularity of this Facebook page comes from SM's continual engagement with their fans by sharing teasers, images, clips, and videos from their artists.
A representative of SM Entertainment stated, "If we add all of the 'likes' from the fan pages of BoA, Super Junior, TVXQ, Girls' Generation, and other artists from our label, there are more than 10,000,000 'likes'.
