Top girl group, Girls' Generation, were recently awarded with a 'Best Jewellery Wearer Award' from Japan.
On January 11th, the members attended the '23rd Jewelry Wearer Awards' at the Tokyo Big Sight Convention Center in Odaiba. The awards ceremony was held as a part of 'The 23rd International Jewellery Tokyo" exposition, which drew over 1,000 jewellery makers and designers from all over the world.
Japan's minister of tourism, Hiroshi Mizohata, personally handed the 'Best Dresser, Special Female Award' to Seohyun, who stepped out as the group's representative. In her acceptance speech, she boldly expressed, "We will continue to sing songs that shine like a jewel."
Meanwhile, Japanese soccer player, Keisuke Honda received the 'Best Dresser, Special Male Award'.
This is the third consecutive year that a Hallyu star has been awarded with the 'Best Dresser Award', as Won Bin won it last year while Lee Byung Hun took it home two years ago.
