On December 22nd, Song Joong Ki shared a screencap of his convo with his 'Deep-Rooted Tree' co-star and tweeted, "Jang Hyuk sunbaenim and I have a deep-rooted connection!" Song Joong Ki, who pioneered the start of the drama as young 'King Sejong', watched the series finale on the 22nd and sent his impressions to Jang Hyuk, who plays the role of 'Kang Chae Yoon'. Song Joong Ki wrote, "Jang Hyuk hyung-nim, I enjoyed the last episode. It was the best!" In response, Jang Hyuk sent an smiley and said, "It's because you did so well in the beginning.
