Jang Woo Hyuk has been cast in a Chinese drama

Singer Jang Woo Hyuk will be making his small-screen debut on a Chinese drama series. He has been in cast as the main role in the new Chinese drama, 'My Sileok Girlfriend'. An insider reported, "Jang Woo Hyuk has developed a strong fan base in China. Although he does not have much acting experience, there are numerous Chinese fans that wanted to see him on the small-screen, and therefore has been selected as the main male lead". Jang Woo Hyuk will be heading over to China at the end of the month. He will reside there for about three months until filming for the series comes to an end. The insider continued, "The dialogue in Chinese dramas are dubbed, so he shouldn't have such a difficult time filming. The drama will air sometime in mid-2012".
