On November 24th, singer IU won the 'Best Song of the Year' award at the '2011 Melon Music Awards' for her popular hit, "Good Day". Delighted by the win, IU walked quickly towards the main stage to receive her award, but unfortunately, slipped and fell before reaching the mic.
Like the pro she is, she got right back on her feet and received her award. Embarrassed, she said, "Hello everyone, this is IU...", before she laughed it off.
IU quickly thanked her parents and staff members before returning to her seat. The concerned artists around her asked if she were okay, and with a bashful smile, IU remarked that she was not badly hurt.
