Prosecution issues an arrest warrant for Shin Jung Hwan

Shin Jung Hwan's gambling scandal has escalated to another level, as it was revealed that the Seoul Central Prosecutors Office issued an arrest warrant for the popular star. Back in September of 2010, the media discovered that Shin Jung Hwan was being detained in the Philippines due to substantial gambling debts. After lying about being hospitalized, Shin Jung Hwan suddenly disappeared, cutting off contact with both his manager and his agency. Eventually, he finally returned to Korea, and submitted himself to being�investigated by the police, which lasted for a period of eight hours. On March 31st, the�Seoul Central District Prosecutors Office decided to issue an arrest warrant for Shin Jung Hwan due to crimes of substantial illegal gambling and hiding in a foreign country.
