We're bombarded with idol groups these days, so it's great to hear musicians who delivers a gritty, staggering sound that's sure to make you scour the internet for their work. Indie rock band�Guckkasten has been lauded as one of the most original bands in Korea due to their amazing array of sounds: rock with a touch of heavy metal, opera, and synth - how could they go wrong?
What's interesting to note about this band is that they had to record their first album, "Guckkasten", twice after their initial work was wiped from a hard drive. That's pure dedication to their craft right there.

The band also collaborated with f(x) a few months back on "Music Bank" to perform their track "Vitriol", as well as a cover of No Doubt's "Don't Speak":
