Psy is all set to release his title track, "Right Now", on October 20th, and he reportedly hand-picked actress Seo Woo after watching her powerful performance in "Flames of Ambition".
"Right Now" is Psy's comeback track after a 4-year hiatus in his career. It's described as a "dance-rock" song that will blast your worries away, whether it be inside a car, dance club, concert, or in the middle of the street. The lyrics try to inspire the listener about letting go of their worries, and go crazy for the moment. Psy filmed his music video in the middle of the street to emphasize this theme of 'carpe diem'.
Psy looked for an actress who could act, dance, and be powerful at the same time. Finding that Seo Woo fit all three qualities, he directed her to dance on top of a car while wearing a dress reminiscent of the iconic Lady Gaga.
The music video has two versions, one featuring Seo Woo and the other featuring Psy. It will be released simultaneously with the album on the 20th.
