Last week the boys of TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki and Big Bang both appeared on the Christmas Special edition of Music Station Live in Japan. Five days have passed since then and both of these groups returned to Japan to attend the prestigious Japan Record Awards show. TVXQ won the Musical Excellence Award and performed their hit Stand By You. Big Bang won the Rookie Newcomer Award and performed their hit Gara Gara Go.
