SNSD, Kim Tae Woo, Taecyeon, and Davichi pay tribute to Lee Seung Chul at the Melon Music Awards

Girls' Generation / SNSD, Kim Tae Woo, Taecyeon, and Davichi all paid tribute to legendary singer/songwriter Lee Seung Chul at the Melon Music Awards. Girls' Generation can thank their namesake to this man. They performed their hit single from 2007, 'Girls Generation / ????', which was originally a Lee Seung Chul song from 1989. The performance went well except for Jessica, who experienced some mic trouble. Kim Tae Woo and 2PM's Taecyeon sang Sleepless Nights. Kim Tae Woo's smooth jazz vocals and Taecyeon smooth hip-hop flow were the perfect match for this song. The ladies from Davichi performed an amazing duet version of Lee Seung Chul's hit song Scream. It was interesting to hear this song sung not only by a female voice, but two beautiful female voices. Lee Seung Chul was honored this night by receiving the 2009 Y-STAR LIVE award. All in all, an excellent tribute to the legend and his amazing career.
