We reported yesterday that Kim Nam Gil and Lee Yo Won had suffered some injuries after falling off a horse while filming for MBC's Queen Seon Duk over the weekend. While filming a scene which saw Kim Nam Gil and Lee Yo Won rounding a bend while on a horse, the former lost control as the both of them fell to the ground. Lee Yo Won escaped with minor injuries as she landed safely but Kim Nam Gil landed awkwardly and complained of excessive pain around his neck. Filming was temporarily suspended as the both of them were sent immediately to hospital for treatment. A day has gone by and it was reported that Lee Yo Won has now returned to the filming set although Kim Nam Gil remains in hospital for treatment and observation. Lee Yo Won's management said on the 26th, "She sustained minor bruises after falling off the horse but is otherwise fit and ready to return to filming. She will proceed as planned with her filming schedule." Fans were afraid for her health as Lee Yo Won had been reported to be in declining health recently. For Kim Nam Gil, he remains hospitalized for further tests and observation. Kim Nam Gil had hoped to return home and take a rest before resuming filming on the 26th. But upon hearing the doctor's advice, he decided to remain in hospital for further tests. A representative for Kim Nam Gil said, "He is currently receiving treatment at the Seoul National University. We have decided that it was not worth taking the risk in rushing him back to filming so soon. We will consult the doctors again but the earliest return date for Kim Nam Gil to return to filming will be the 27th if everything goes well."
