Despite having already ended promotions for Genie in Korea, the SNSD girls are still making waves overseas. It was revealed today that SNSD have been nicknamed 'chart topping queens' in Thailand. Ever since their 2nd mini-album Genie went on sale in Thailand on 30th July, they have been #1 on Thailand's international album sales chart, BS2 TOP20 for 4 consecutive weeks, dating from 28th July to 23rd August. BS2 TOP20 is a weekly chart, charting sales of albums from all it's nationwide stores. Their Genie mini-album is also doing well with another big-name music store, placing #1 for 2 consecutive week for Gramophone's weekly chart.
