SNSD's Gee Dance Copied For A Chinese Folk Song?

Although SNSD/Girls' Generation ended their promotions for their hit song 'Gee' a few months back, the song and the choreography to the song is loved by many; even by Chinese folk song artists?! Recently on the 7th of August, a music video for a Chinese folk song was released. Whats so shocking about the music video is the fact that the background dancers in the music video are dancing to... a calmer and more steady version of the 'Gee' dance. If you watch the comparison video created by soybeaner819, you could see the Chinese background dancers doing the 'knocking dance', 'fragrance dance' and even the signature 'lowercase G' dance. I don't know whats more shocking, the fact that the choreography is nearly identical or the fact that the 'Gee' dance was used for a folk song. thanks to Hadi for the tip.
