Filipino Talent Show "Fires" Up Some 2NE1

On Talentadong Pinoy, the Filipino version of the "Got Talent" series, the 4 week reigning champions Tribal Dancers choreographed 2NE1's first single, "Fire". The talent show was created by Simon Cowell and features a head to head competition each show where a challenger performs against the returning champion, competing for a spot on the next show. The performance was... interesting at best. The group had something lighted at the end of strings, similar to glowsticking at raves, and just kind of swayed their hips to the beat. I've honestly seen better at high school dances, but I do have to give them credit for actually lighting the things on fire. The news isn't all that surprising with all the attention k-pop gets in the Phillipines, along with the connection 2NE1 has with Sandara Park originally debuting in the Phillipines.
