Actress Kim Sung Eun and soccer player Jung Jo Gook are getting married on December 11th! They met on July 20th of last year through a friend, and you could say that they fell in love at first sight. They recently had an interview with the press: When did you guys meet for the first time? Kim Sung Eun - July 20th is our first anniversary. One year ago, we met through a friend, and we naturally progressed into a couple. My first impression of him was very good, and I think I fell in love at first sight. After I met him for my first time, I kept wanting to see him more. Jung Jo Gook - My first impressive of her bright personality was good, and her un-celebrity-like personality was a plus. Why did you decide to get married? Kim Sung Eun - When Jo Gook was happy, I was even happier, and when I realized this, I wanted to live with him for the rest of my life. I could feel our love growing everyday, and I loved him more when I saw that his love was unchanging and that he tried to adjust for me. One day, I realized that Jo Gook was the purpose of my life and I was definite about marriage. Jung Jo Gook - After I met Sung Eun, I had to go through a surgery due to an injury during a game, and it was a very difficult time. Sung Eun was always supportive and she was my strength. This is when I realized that I wanted to spend my life with her. How did you guys date? Kim Sung Eun - We both dated in public, not hiding from other people. We ate together, watched movies, musicals...everything normal couples do. When did you feel thankful to each other? Kim Sung Eun - I'm so thankful that Jo Gook always stays by my side. Sometimes he's my friend, sometimes he's my brother, sometimes he's my father and I'm always thankful for that. Jung Jo Gook - I felt most thankful and touched when she always protected by my side when I was in the hospital. How did you propose? Kim Sung Eun - Just recently, he gave me a couple ring, but I don't know if that was the proposal. I am secretly expecting something more. Jung Jo Gook - I still did not think of a special proposal, so I am currently pondering. How do you feel about the upcoming wedding? Both - I wish time passed quickly and the day came.
