4minute's "Milkshake"... Yikes!

After Ji Yoon and Ga Yoon's rather nice Alicia Keys cover, even those who were tiring from the girl-group overdose enjoyed the radio performance. Alas, it seems that all English covers are not created equal, for on the exact same Starry Starry Night Radio show, Cube's 4minute sang a rather... interesting rendition of Kelis' "Milkshake". I'm not sure whether to cringe or laugh. Kudos to AegyoPopPrincess for the tip. 4minute fans are lamenting the horrible song choice and the apparent lack of practice (some of the girls seem shaky on the lyrics), as they publicly display the group in a bad light. It's almost impossible to defend this performance, and many fans are forced to just ignore all of the netizen insults. The Alicia Keys cover showed that the girls do have some talent, but it's rather unfortunate that the rookies are shoved into radio shows to perform this awful cover. Let's just hope, for the sake of their careers and our ears, that whoever controls these things chooses songs that better fit the girls. They have also performed Lexy's "Up To The Sky" on Sukira (hosted by SuJu's Eeteuk and Eunhyuk), with a result that was... well you be the judge: Kudos to wintersunuds for the upload.
