On December 9, G-Market tweeted the following: "We won't say much. That nut. (Actually, macadamia)."

Along with the tweet, G-Market included a picture of 'Mauna Loa' nuts, which they sell on their site.

Netizens had a chuckle over the jab, as it's highly likely that the "nut" G-Market speaks of is none other than Korean Air vice president Heather Cho, who turned a plane around after an attendant gave her some macadamia nuts. The story goes that Cho was served the nuts on the plane when she didn't ask for them. Some news sources state that the nuts were also served in a bag instead of on a plate. Cho called over the head of service (the purser) and asked him to recite Korean Air's policy on serving nuts. When he wasn't able to answer correctly, Cho ordered that the plane turn around so that the purser could be kicked out.

Although G-Market later deleted the tweet, netizens have been responding positively to the playful ad, saying, "I'll definitely eat this on a plane," "Is it true that when I eat this nut, the plane will suddenly start flying in reverse?", and, "The taste of a reversed plane!
