Recently,�''evidence'' that prove their relationship has been spreading across various online communities. Based on this ''evidence'', netizens, as well as, fans are very well convinced the two are indeed a couple.�
The first ''proof' is Kim Yoon Hee's Facebook post shared on February 20, 2014. She wrote, "I'm graduating from Sungshin Women's University. Congratulations to my classmates and I appreciate my family, Yoon Sun, Hyungwon, and Hyun Woo who've all came for me."
Suspicious social media posts continue. Kim Yoon Hee once posted a photo of a gift she received which had, "Be good to me. I miss you'', on the box. It's claimed the handwriting on the box matches with the handwriting of Hyungwon.�
In another post, Kim Yoon Hee uploaded a selca with the caption, "My boyfriend is manjjitnam."�'Manjjitnam', a term used for an incredibly handsome guy who looks like he was ripped out of a cartoon, happens to be Hyungwon's nickname.�
In this post, it's claimed Kim Yoon Hee targeted MONSTA X's fans as she posted a photo of a puppy with the caption, "Mon bebe'', which is the boy group's official fandom name.�
Kim Yoon Hee also reportedly responded to fans' direct messages telling her to stop showing signs of dating. On her Instagram story, Kim Yoon Hee wrote, "I've been living quietly for the past 4 years so I'm not sure what you guys mean for me to be even quieter and stop showing signs...�Also, unfortunately, nothings going to change even if you look at my Instagram and send me messages." She added, "Work is work and personal life is personal life. I can't answer questions about my personal matters but you guys just do what you guys want and ask personal questions and that's also making me want to do whatever I want."
The next set of 'evidence' is by Hyungwon's peers. In an interview, fellow MONSTA X member Shownu�picked Hyungwon as the member who'll be most charming when dating and explained that Hyungwon is the pure type who only looks at one girl. Fans believe Shownu was hinting at Hyungwon's long-term relationship with Kim Yoon Hee.�
The next post was reportedly posted on a blog by a friend of Hyungwon. In the screenshot of the Kakao Talk messages, a selca�of Hyungwon and his alleged girlfriend can be found. Also, Hyungwon showed off his girlfriend, stating, "My girlfriend dresses really well kekeke."
Meanwhile,�Starship Entertainment�responded to the dating rumors via the official home page of MONSTA X on August 4. The label explained, "In early 2016, Hyungwon broke up with the girl he was dating. The girl has uploaded posts on her social media that led to misunderstandings." Starship Ent. also warned legal action against netizens who spread malicious�and false rumors about Hyungwon.�
Fans are angered by the label's response. "If they really did break up early last year, then it's actually Yoon Hee who's spreading the false rumors but why are they threatening legal action against innocent fans? They better give a better feedback asap", stated a fan.�
