Romeo was involved in a car accident.

After the accident, the boy group abruptly canceled the fansign event on March 30. Regarding the cancellation, CT Entertainment made an official announcement.

The label stated,

"Romeo members got into a car accident while going to their fansign event. They were quickly transferred to a hospital and examined. Fortunately, no severe injuries were found, however, they're going to the hospital again to have another close examination for caution. The members of Romeo and the agency are most apologetic for abruptly canceling the fansign event and the following events due to the unexpected accident. An announcement will be made next week regarding the fansign event cancellation and compensation."

We wish a fast recovery for Romeo!

Statistics shows that driving in Korea is significantly more dangerous than in many other countries where people are used to more mild way of driving.

I know but Red Velvet's car accident wasn't as bad as the three others.

Guys, let's all be thankful that this car accident wasn't very serious AND all of the Romeo members weren't seriously hurt as a result, OK?  And although they didn't get seriously hurt, they are planning on going to the hospital for another close examination as a precaution just to make sure that the boys are safe and sound.  Now, I know that all of their female fans are incredibly disappointed that their fansigning event had to be scrapped completely due to the car accident BUT I know that they should be understanding of this and just hope that the boys will stay safe and sound from here on out.

the amount of car accidents that involve idols is ridiculous. you'd think after the ladies code tragedy, there'd be more awareness and carefulness

I agree they should be more careful, but I don't think it's an idol-specific problem. I've heard that car accidents are just generally a problem in Korea, so of course idols are going to be a percentage of those effected since accidents don't discriminate between celebrities and non-celebrities. But I agree and hope that people would be more aware and cautious when driving, especially after tragic events like what happened to Ladies' Code.

After Ladies Code I wish to god more idols would be wearing their seat belts. You think the lesson would be learned after Super Junior accident. Seriously people need buckle up and drive safe before we have another tragedy.

I know, but you'd think such accidents (again, like ladies code) would make the general public even more aware - they got more publicity than they ever had when that happened.

yes, I still see idols (in videos) not wearing their seat belts and it just makes me cringe, it's too much of a risk.

Super Junior it was a factor on why they were so severely hurt, Ladies Code as well. Seungri was wearing his belt, if he wasn't he would have decorated the median. Though I have met tow truck drivers who clean up those messes who are surprised he survived period. Human body hates sudden stops.

Human body hates being flung from the car even more.
