Following Cube Entertainment's announcement of a brand new B2ST, Hyunseunghas come out to say he wasn't aware he was joining a new B2ST, and Around Us Entertainmenthas also made an official statement.
On February 10, Hyunseung posted to Instagram, "What are they saying... This is the first time I've heard this... I don't plan on doing this either. I used to think stars giving explanations on Instagram was uncool, but I couldn't leave this alone," but the message has since been deleted.
Around Us Entertainment, the new agency of Doojoon, Junhyung, Yoseob, Kikwang, and Dongwoon, has also released a statement. The label commented, "We've been caught off-guard. To be honest, we were discussing about the issue of B2ST's trademark even yesterday. We never thought the news would hit headlines this way. We'll have to discuss it with Cube Entertainment."
